Scala Developer (m/w/d)
Your responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize APIs for real-time, distributed applications in the banking sector
  • Migrate on-premise applications to AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  • Contribute to architectural design decision-making
  • Transition legacy system applications to modern technologies
  • Ensure development to robust and scalable systems
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to meet company goals
Your profile
  • A degree in Computer Science or in a related field is required. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • You have at least 2-3 years of experience as a software developer focused on backend development with Scala.
  • You're familiar with databases (e.g., Oracle, Postgres, MySql, Elasticsearch).
  • Experience with AWS is a big plus.
  • You're comfortable working in complex development environments and have experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • You are a self-starter with a keen eye for detail, a high level of enthusiasm, and a commitment to your work.
  • You are fluent in English, and German skills are a plus due to some domain models and documents being exclusively in German.
